seasonal bangles

Christmas tree, fragrantly green, pride of place.

Fairy lights shining bright, untangle
upon the boughs, baubles dangle.
Chipped, worn seasonal bangles.

Silvered tinsel shivers
in slivers, glimmers.

Grandma's angel
placed gently
on high.

Sighs.
