Written in respect for to a community worker.
I'll Roll Up My Sleeves
Years ago when she was young and full of fun,
She would roll up her sleeves and help to get things done.
She became a Candy Stripe worker at the local hospital and a volunteer at the library.
She worked it all into her school schedule, this is just a start.
As she grew older and obtained more knowledge,
she worked for A Community Center as a leader. Issues galore, came to her from the needy to the greedy, only to be solved with a smile,
a smile of what can I do? Who can I see?
More and more ideas came into being, seeing them carried out was her objective.
" I'll roll up my sleeves and get things done," she thought.
As she became older and obtained even more knowledge, bigger challenges came along, and with all this experience
she once more thought, "I'll roll up my sleeves, get in there and get it done."
Even today she still is involved in work for the needy and of course the greedy.
