Bluebells

by Bucketlist

Each Bluebell flower’s Nature’s gem
Every bell hangs from a mini stem

Hundreds live together under shady trees
While attracting pollen seeking bees
Blue color spreads like ink from a pen

Absent in winter, return in spring when
The woodland  floor which then one sees
Is a flower-lover’s treat now post-freeze
Each Bluebell flower

The shady trees yield shelter to them
From strong winds, so that when
The purple bells wave in a breeze
A moving ocean of blue one sees
A poet's dream in a stage of REM
Each Bluebell flower
