A Sedoka Entry

On A Cold Winter Night

A cold winter's night
with temperatures dropping
as winds howl through the pine trees

A cozy cottage
with a warm fire burning
as soup simmers on the stove

Writing Prompt
Write a sedoka poem. A sedoka consists of two unrhymed three-line stanzas, each with a syllable count of 5 - 7 - 7.
Often these stanzas go at the same subject from different perspectives, but that is not a requirement.


Fire is pronounced the Bostonian way as "fi ah"
