thunder rolling
drizzle falling
lazy sluggards pull soft, warm blankets
over their heads in dreamy slumber
slowly waken
sleepy morning
in November

softly pitter
softly patter
raindrops etch down dark window panes
dripping, slipping into the puddle below
dampened leaves
rainy evening
in November

branches banging
breezes changing
wafting winds nip Autumn’s cool fingers,
permanently turning chilliness into white cold
icy rime
frosty night
in November
