Be afraid but saddle up any way

While stationed in Germany, we were rappelling off of a tower. The rappel master noticed I was shaking.
He said, "What kind of paratrooper are you? You're a damned coward."
"If I was a coward I wouldn't have come up the tower," I said right before I rappelled.
