Exceptional
This work has reached the exceptional level
In reality, more of a goal...

A Teacher's Invisible Muse

Teaching used to be a huge rush
and focused on student learning...
To see those little “lights go on”
far out-weighed a teacher’s earning
 
But now it seems a parent’s goal
is a grade and not the knowledge
Their only care seems that letter be
either an “A” or “B” for college.
 
So, after many parent meetings
handled with grace and urbanity
My muse, per se, is simply the goal
of preserving my sanity!
