My Muse

My muse is always with me.
Day and night, rain or shine,
It dances with glee,
Especially at writing time.

It is the creative part of my mind.
The part that absolutely knows,
The words that would be kind
And what must truly go.

My muse is always there,
It is always with me.
It really does care.
