Poodle World 5

My sister wore a poodle skirt,
exactly why I do not know;
it may have been in fashion then,
like hems that reach down to one's toe.

She also rode in cars with boys
and smoked those cigarettes;
she'd even have herself some beers,
like all those suffragettes.
