A Ridiculous Flocking Tale

by michaelcahill

Daniel the professor had become a confessor,
appearing before Parliament, a nameless assembly,
with a question—
Was it possible for a he-goat
to father a she-goat if the he-goat
had been a she-goat
before being a he-goat.
And, what kind of zygote goat
would a he-goat float
if a she-goat zygote won't float?
Well … the professor wrote that he'd left a note
that a goat's a goat and all zygotes float,
AND he wasn't even there.
