Jesse had spent the day at the police station trying to figure out who had killed her friend. They had gone through all her selfies and she answered every question while battling a raging hang over.
Suddenly, she remembered the last picture taken outside the club. She had used her old phone because her new phone had run low on batteries.
She fumbled in her purse and her hands shook as she scrolled down to find her friend's final picture. The man she had left with in the early hours, stood grinning beside her, devil horns playfully above her head.
