Best Friends

Down the road we go,
won't go too fast or slow.

Hand in hand across the land,
down the road we go.

My very best friend and me
will walk down to the sea.

We'll dive right in and carefully swim,
my very best friend and me.

The two of us have fun,
sitting together in the sun.

Catching fishes and making wishes,
the two of us have fun.

When the sun goes down
we'll walk back through the town.

Stop for a treat, ice cream so sweet.
When the sun goes down.

Down the road we go,
off to see a picture show.

A comedy we wanted to see,
down the road we go.

When the day comes to an end,
I'll be with my very best friend.

Too dark to roam, we'll go back home.
When the day comes to an end.
