Building Memories

by BlueMarble

Building memories once was my craft.
I loved to sing and dance and laugh.
The music of life kept me in the groove,
New adventures kept me on the move.
I skied down mountains and swam in seas,
I danced on beaches down in Belize.
From the Southern Cross to the Northern Lights,
I explored the world and its sights.
Now as I sit in my rocking chair,
With age in my bones and gray in my hair,
All those memories give me smiles.
This old frame has earned its miles.
