I am not perfect by any means
If I was I would be stuffed with beans
I have so many flaws inside and out
I am not shy about them but I do tend to shout

I am nothing more than a human - not a queen
We all share flaws that nobody sees
Not one not two but many to tell and share
And with that....let's start right there

Looking into the mirror the reality starts to begin
Griping and disliking my very own chin
Wrinkles and aging are abundantly there
And let's not stop with all the gray in my hair

Body no longer resembles when I was young
And admitting that well it kinda stung
Sagging boobs that now fall to the ground
My body and I are different all the way around

Big butt little butt or one completely flat
Never mind bitchin' about all of that
Teeth aren't perfect- crooked and stained
Walking to the mailbox makes me feel a strained

Arthritis is present and permanent raccoon eyes
Looking at myself long will cause me to cry
Perfect lil' house or a big messy one...I don't care
Just another flaw to make strangers talk and stare

Having flaws makes us unique from the rest
They create humans that are definitely complex
Love yourself in, out, all the way around
Be proud of each and every flaw hands down

Flaws and imperfections are ours to own
Making us individuals down to our bones
Never feel sad or worthless because of them
To hatefulness and words never succumb

Let'a be proud encouragingly honest to ourselves
Support and love each one for being themselves
