Moon Gazing

by Sugarray77

Quiet Contest Winner

Tucked within a bright moonbeam's glow,
an inner peace I did not know,
washes gently through my hurts and pain,
calmly soothing my way again.

The dew, the air, the midnight breeze,
green fresh mown grass beneath my knees,
sweet nature's rhythm from time old,
wraps me serenely in its fold.

While gazing up into the sky,
I feel the Spirit's watchful eye.
Creator keeps me in his sight,
communes with me when I am quiet.
