Though I believe in securing our borders, I don't believe that children should be separated from their parents. I believe this to be a humanitarian issue. These poor children have journeyed far and most cannot speak English. The only security they have is in the arms of their parent or parents. Long term scars will remain with these innocent victims. We, the United States of America are much better than this.
