A Man of Honor

by dragonpoet

A man of honor has incurred
A sense of duty never blurred
To battle for his fellow men
With fortitude 'til the end.
Patriotism far from slurred.

A soldier goes to war inured
To the fact he may be interred
From his acts, he always stays then
A man of honor.

A fighter with his weapons gird
Will follow orders as he's heard
And encounter enemies when
In forest; desert, fetid fen
And leaders are assures that he's
A man of honor
