Advice to that old grouch...

Don't Look A Gift Horse In The Mouth

If you feel like a monster today,
being old and achy isn't cause for dismay.
About having all those nagging pains, I have this to say:
Try to look at longevity in a different way.
Your myriad minor maladies are the dues you pay
for breathing and living another day.
