He is considered our pet
A Goose Named Duck
Our goose named Duck stands a steady guard
Staunchly protects the front porch of our home
He is a joy because he’s an easily cared for pet…
You see he does not require walking or
Feeding and he never makes a sound
He is decked in seasonal gaieties as...
Santa, a pilgrim, or Cupid; in summer
He’s reigns as Uncle Sam and a scuba diver
Sometimes he even pretends to be a hobo clown
Visiting children love to hug him and
Pose for selfies snapped with their cell phones
Our goose named Duck is greatly loved...
Even though he is made of solid cement
He is the perfect pet, never does he need to
Wee or eat and never does he utter a sound
