100-Word Story - Contest Entry
Problem Resolution Changed the World
by Ogden
Adam had much to live up to. He was an only child, and his dad was a bigshot. Living alone in a spectacular garden, one morning Adam woke up with a partner, the only person he'd ever seen! He didn’t happen to notice the very small physical difference between them. So, no hanky-panky. Yet. He’d never before heard talking, but that changed quickly. And how! The only voice around seemingly never stopped. Soon Adam realized how peaceful the quiet was in the good old days. The first man with that problem. It was resolved with the voice of a snake.
