Sad our time has become
Many have to boycott fun
Games that refuse to Honor the brave
Veterans will not give them a Day

All the crowds will feel the pain
Many TVs will close the frame
Perhaps to Honor the Flag and Anthem
Some will Salute than watch something other

Why do so many not understand
This is not a place to refuse to stand
Too many lost their lives to be free
To refuse to Honor the Flag and Anthem indeed

Now even some want to remove the Anthem
The history reveals no prejudice shown
But when not part of the Anthem Sung
Why have the protests to remove begun
