Like Footprints

~
Like footprints where the soft snow falls
and time won't pause,
the imprints made
some day will fade.

The steps we take too quickly pass
until our last,
while time's embrace
slows not its pace.

 Then comes the day we look behind,
and what we find:
so sad the song...
our footprints gone.
