The Dog That Acts Like a Wife

My worst critic is my embarrassing dog, 'Hawk.'
He may not be able talk.
but when he hears me say something stupid, he'll gawk.

A Monorhyme is a poem in which all the lines have the same end rhyme.


NOTE
The narrator's wife usually criticizes him when he says something stupid, so he's embarrassed when the dog hears it, and gawks at him in dismay. See the illustration.
