Her Broken Wings

Her wings broken
she could not fly
all day she'd sit alone
in her room and cry.

As she cried she was
feeling there was no hope
that she'd ever be whole
not knowing how to cope.

Then one special day
she met a wonderful man
one I am sure was given
by God and in His plan.

Sweeping her off her feet
as wind beneath her wings
her heart was overjoyed
and now to God she sings.

She sings her praises
for the love He had shown
with this kind man's love
new hope in her was sown.
