Caterpillar World 6

by Bill Schott


One can never be too sure

just where the road may go

sometimes it's flat

we hope for that

but it's hardly ever so


An incline is the average

of the slope that we will climb

sometimes it's steep

I mean BLEEP! BLEEP!

that is the toughest time


Like the caterpillar though

we push on, do or die

'cause hill or dale

we will not fail

to be the butterfly
