Dragons of the Sea

his dragon head is noble
his tail wraps around
his coral home

fire breathing he is not,
father to many, he is,
graceful swimmer,
he'll pass you by

scales of many colors,
feasting on brine shrimp
his duties and obligations
arise from his pouch

gives birth to numerous
frail, young seahorses
he teaches survival

he is a dragon of benevolence
a peaceful sea creature
