Two children are sitting on a bench. One looks up and says...

L: ”Maybe he won’t come back. I’m hungry! Let’s go home.”

E: ”But he said we had to stay here.”

L: ”i know, Emmy. We don’t have to listen to him.”

E: ”But he said he’s going to buy us candy. Can’t we wait, Lindsay?”

L: ”We have candy at home. I think he’s kinda weird. He prob’ly ate all the candy himself. C’mon, let’s go.”

E: "But he'll be mad at us if we don't stay here like he said. I'm scared!"

L: "Look, Emmy! There he is! See? He's coming into the park with a policeman."

E: "Oh, yay! He has a bag. I'll bet it's our candy."

L: "Doesn't the policeman looks angry at him? Now the man is pointing at us! He's waving. Let's wave back."

F: "Hi kids! I told you I'd be back with the candy."

P: "Hello girls. Do you know this man?"

F: "Of course they do! I'm their Uncle Fred! Kids, tell this cop I'm Uncle Fred."

E: "Do we have to, Lindsay?"

L: "He is not! We don't even know him. He's a stranger!"

F: "Linda, You know I'm Uncle Fred!"

E: "Her name is Lindsay! Lindsay, Mom told us not to speak to strangers!"

P: "Girls, you should listen to your mother. My partner, in the car, is going to take this "'Fred," here, off to jail, and I'm taking you home.

F: "C'mon, girls! Be nice to your uncle, and tell this guy who I am!"

E: "Can we have the candy?"
