Life Is Like a Box Of Chocolates

by BlueMarble

Life lived to its fullest extent
Is what we seek when we’re seeking content.
Like when you'd like to have chocolate only to find
A dreadful box full nuts and a coated orange rind.
Box and more boxes must be tried,
Of pleasure or displeasure – you decide.
Chocolates can be bittersweet or the sweetest delight,
You can't be sure 'til you’ve taken a bite.
Never, not ever be afraid to try,
Know that the unknown is the reason why
What you are seeking seems to give life its taste,
You needn't make your choice in haste.
Are you wishing for chocolates with swishing mint,
Going from here to there without a hint?
To see what you’re seeking; to find your desire,
Get out of your box, you can fly higher.
