He walked toward me in his tight worn blue jeans. Muscles rippling under his sleeveless white shirt. Skin brown from the sun and his Mexican mother. Once jet black hair now greying around the edges.
I smiled to myself as I pulled another dandelion from my badly overgrown flower bed. My neighbour had just walked across his front lawn. I waved to his wife watching silently from her seat on the front porch. I wonder what their life is like. I mused.
The salty wind caught my long strawberry hair. No, wait, Rhett was taking me upstairs in his strong arms.
