She came at a difficult time in life

Rescued

When we lie in soft moon light
I wonder, Love, where I might be
If you had not come into my life

Your hair now a little streaked
Still when I touch you
my heart quickens

When I was adrift on life's sea
You were the searching beacon
Leading me back to shore

And through it all
Joys and problems
I thrived because of
Your loving support

Thank you for my life
And for spending it with me
