1969,,,we were married

It Was A Very Good Year

by June Sargent

I Heard It Through the Grapevine
that you thought I was so fine
Hot Fun in the Summertime
sipping tequila with key lime
convinced me, My Cherie Amour

that you were the one I adored
This Girl's in Love With You - way
More Today Than Yesterday
You've Made Me So Very Happy

Don't want to get too sappy
but I'll Never Fall in Love Again
'cause Baby It's You - now and then -
'til The Year 2525
Only the Strong Survive
