What Makes Me Happy

The Love of God

I thank God for life every day...
Loving grandchildren makes my day
They bring much joy and happiness
For this by God - I know, I'm blessed


I thank God for life every day...
I'm able to do things my way
When despair tries to seek me out
I give praise to God ~ sing and shout


I'm happy when I kneel and pray
I thank God for life every day...
The peace and love He's given me-
With joy divine, I am carefree~


My life was filled with ups and downs
Never a smile ~ always a frown
Peace came, settled within my heart
Now I pen poems ~ brand new start


I'm happy when I give God praise
The joy it gives ~ in many ways
I thank God for life every day
I'm happy when I kneel and pray
