My Buddies Are Back!

With noses twitching in excitement
baby bunnies chase each other
Skirting 'round small clumps of snow
left behind by last week's storm
Scampering up the hill with glee -
startling squirrels in the trees
Counting days when they can steal
and munch on carrots - from my garden!
