Infatuation that never dies

Cherry Wine

Passionate Love in Black and White Contest Winner
There was in the long ago
A little golden-haired girl
Who invaded my soul
Her lips wet with cherry wine

Demurred with Venus glances
Her face burned in my soul
My mind plotted entrances
Her lips wet with cherry wine

The turn of her head would excite
Her puppy dog eyes singed my heart
Passions of Id rose up in flight
Her lips wet with cherry wine

I know, couldn't lose control
Amorous dreams fired my being
Her image brushed into my soul
Her lips wet with cherry wine

Our love was never, sanity prevails
Desire to taste her sweet cherry wine
Still echoes in my memory jail
Slowing aging in my soul
