Surprise! 80 Words or Less Contest Winner
On my birthday, I bought a second hand copy of the story Peter Rabbit. I had loved this book as a child and the drawings inside revived a wonderful memory of reading under the willow tree. I settled into my favorite chair and suddenly noticed that it was an old library book that still had the card tucked in the pocket.
I slipped the card out and saw my name. I had taken this book out forty years ago.
