Luke 2:7King James Version (KJV)
7.  And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.
All knowing, almighty and merciful God, allowed His only begotten son to be born in a barn, when he could have been born in a palace amongst Kings.
He allowed His only begotten son to suffer and die for the sins of humanity that we may have the right to eternal life.
When I think about how God have given us the greatest gift of all, the gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ, I am grateful.
I further realize all that I/we go through only makes me/us stronger.
