Misty morning envelopes the sun
A faint light dances on the window
Frosties spread like icy knives
Etching pictures on the pane

Streets are frozen, sidewalks glisten
A wrapped up stranger hurries by
Trees standing tall bend with the wind
Creatures huddle in winters den
