Exceptional
This work has reached the exceptional level
I find evidence in my yard that something has been there.

Gang of Slugs

A nervy gang of slimy slugs tagged my sidewalk last night,
I found their graffiti all over the place at dawn's first light.
Their message on my sidewalk made me grouse and grumble,
so if they keep on coming back, I guess we'll have a rumble.

My handbook to literature says that the rhyme scheme aabb is acceptable for a quatrain so that is what I have chosen. This is just a little spoof at having to clean up after nature's visitors.
