7-7-7 Poem About Aging Contest Winner

Writing Prompt Write a three-line poem in the words of an average Joe or Jane. It must make a philosophical first-person statement about being old or getting old. Each of the three lines is required to have exactly seven syllables. Some alliteration is required, and at least one end-of-line rhyme. No animation, no soundtrack. Voters are asked to consider the caliber of the narrator's philosophy. |
