midas touch

by judester

Without the music
colors and art,
trimmings be damned
when it's from the heart.

There seems to be
some jealousy,
irritation disguised
as flattery.

Maybe there's someone
that wins too much?
Let's learn from him,
and his midas touch.

All those extras,
take if you must.
Naked, he'll leave us
again, in his dust.

Without the trimmings contest entry
Pays one point and 2 member cents.
