I have a picture hanging on my wall
that includes seventeen people in all.

Their ages are seven weeks to seventy years
and each familiar face is very dear.

Three generations smile from a frame
they have something in common, something the same.

It shows Baby Sofia on her Christening day.
For their Christenings all here were dressed the same way.

An artist named, Dennis, sketched this picture for me
and it shows all who wore this dress in our family.

The dress is made of white linen and lace
which I always store in a very safe place.

Every time I put this beautiful dress away
I make sure it's ready for another special day.

This dress has witnessed new life for sure
when it clothed the babies whose souls were washed pure.

This lovely white garment, the Christening dress,
helped three generations dress for spiritual success.
