I have a piece of amethyst --
which in this life provides me rest.
It forms a simple tree of life,
imagine how that clears my strife!

When dressing for the coming day
I place it near my heart to say
that I will be forever graced
and never be by God displaced.

More precious than a silken robe,
protective gem consumes this globe.
I know my angels hover near
when on my throat the stone shines clear.

For every soul there is a stone
which to the heavens we are hone.
I cannot feel truly dressed,
unless with amethyst I'm blessed.

No skirt or blouse this life can cleanse
as only trust can make amends.
To dress for winning all our needs --
choose wisely of the blessing seeds.
