Lonely heart

Speak
To me of
Of a lonely heart
A crying soul tearing apart
When darkness refuses to break
Life no longer, you wish to partake.

Haunting's whirling in your mind
Shredding peace of any kind
Take a breath, hold on tight
Let my words carry you tonight.

You are not alone, I've been there too
And this is what I'd like you to do.
Close your eyes and hear my voice
In this life we have a choice.

Peace and hope can be found
But first, knock that wall down.
Dream with me what life could be
You've closed the door, but hold the key.

Step outside into the light
See God's beauty within your sight
You are loved beyond all compare
Burdens alone you need not bare.

Take a chance and open your heart
Baby steps will be a good start
Loneliness won't stand a chance
Give happiness a second chance.

I'll hold your hand and be a friend
Helping each other till the end
This can be what it seems
Open your eyes
Go chase your
Dream.
