If my mom were a flower She'd be a classic rose-- Timeless, elegant, Pleasing eye and nose. Magical! Spontaneous! Like the changing dandelion, So much fun to play with, Sending laughter flyin'. Or perhaps a pretty crocus, With colors all aglow-- Surprising! Optimistic! Pushing cheerily through the snow. Or a pure and spiritual lily Whose heart you cannot harden...... No, my mom could never be a flower She's too much of a garden.
