'You see, he fell into and icy crevice on a mountain of top!"
"These natural phenomomas can lie in wait {usually for mountain climbers} and plummet the hapless victims to an early and 'Icy GRAVE!'

"Wondering why and where her only cub doth stray?"

"Called 'Eskimo' or Polar Bears, the bears back in 1902} were a protected and honored creature much like others who respect the 'Animal and Sea Kingdoms' though out the world."
"This cub they call "Nicckie' was barley six months old when born but was a stocky and quite hardy 180 pounder!"

"He fell about sixty feet and luckily landed below in some recent snow!"

"The year was 1902 and in the tiny and recently developed town of Nome, Alaska quite a distance from Nebraska,...
"The inhabitants were quite at home in Nome until....

"Whale hunting was prosperous that year and plenty of blubber was stored...

'To cook with, heat, and allow the lamps to glow...

"Yes, from heart to nutrition and every so often the pelt of the White Wolf...
"Life was as good as it possibly could be till the little loss of Nicckie!"
"Yes, I am father to Nicckie." Replied Niccolo.
"I practically raised that cub after weaning!" States Nicco.

And old dried treats!'

"We are going out in the early morning to look farther for tracks as a
polor Bear's territory widens when the food supply is bad.
"So, so, sad...
"My little Nicckie. Cries Nicco.

"The next morning they head farther North by dog sled even though
'Father Sky' calls for a storm...
"They travel over ten mile and finally notice some tracks {although well worn}
"Pop!"
"Look it's the mother's!" Cries out Nicco.
"She must be looking too!"
"Yes Nicco that she as well...
"As well as well can be...
"If it is the right bear up there!"

"They followed the tracks to the mountain and noticed that
they had faded with the recent snow...
"Cover?" Dad.
"Yes Nicco."
"But which way pops?' She asks.
"WHICH WAY?"
"Up. up, up, up, AND TO THE TOP IF WE HAVE TO...
"THAT BEAR IS STRAVING AND OR DEAD!"

"As God's snows painted the ground white little Nicckie knwew that something was wrong and not right!"
"Momma bear?"

"Down there?" He Questions.
"I'm tired and hungry and as scarded as any bear can be!'

"I'm afraid that I shall soon...
"Be DOOMED!"

"As the night air kissed goodbye to this Earth...
"Will little Nikkie be saved before the worst?'

"Suddenly the White wolf appears hereing the wimpering cries below!"

"Oh, I see that you got yourself into a qickened predicttament bear?"
"What no reply way down there?"
"Well, I'll HUff and I'll PUFF Puff! and i'll...
"MOMMY! MOMMY....
"Nicckie starts to pray...

"Our father in Heaven how I do heed your name!"
"In a Kingdom that hath come I now call out your name...
"JESUS!!!"

"The White Wolf suddenly runs away as if it had seen a ghost!"
"I'll be back!"
He states as he treds away cursing the Savior.
"And i'm hungry too."

"OK, it's coming Annie had a brain freeze momment!"

"Father?" Yes Daughter?
"Look up above at that huge crack in the ice!"
"Yes if someone falls down there...
"Well, Lets just say they are doomed!"

"As they approached the ice crack, they noticed that it was too dark to
see but then as I write this end...
"With my cross pen."

'Listen Nicco!"
"Can you hear a slight wimper below?"
"Yes daddy but it sounds forever and ever..
'You mean trapped and gave up all hope?"
"Nicco?"

'Daddy it's Nikkie!' and he is still alive!'
"I'll sled back and bring a chain and rope."
"You stasy here and try to give him hope for without it...

"Don't worry pops Nicco to the rescue!"

"As the father left Nikko and Little Bear more then twelve hours surrpased and the little bear was sleepimg.

"Here let me help and bring that big guy home!" Yes yells out Nicco.
"After what seemed an Eternity....
"After over three weeks trapped and ready to go...'
