Writing Prompt Write a haiku on the subject of summer -17 syllables or less (preferably less) -short/long/short format -two grammatically interconnected lines of concrete imagery -a satori/ah-ha line (moment of insight) -present tense -no personification -minimal punctuation or capitalization -no gerunds (-Ing ending words) -no rhyme -avoid alliteration -avoid redundant filler words -no artwork -no videos, music or animation -no author's notes -title: haiku (first line of the haiku) |
