Until The Waters Flow Again
by michaelcahill
Until The Waters Flow Again Like ice, I'm transfixed
my fate written within her deep drowning pool eyes
hither she calls me
I splash forth through a puddle she laughs with menace laughter sooths me while
turning my sense into love oceans seek my soul River flows swiftly
with my life's cells- tsunami waterfall turns red thunder sometimes lies
but lightning always seeks truth drenched in blood, I wait the sky fills with light
I burst forth with my secret love drains from my veins bones lay in repose
the ocean has no mem'ry deserts once knew seas |
