Awaken In Peace   I was angry for a while when you stole my smile you took it away with you that day the last man on earth I'd expect to steal mirth blame my humanity to make it all about me   but, you know I need to laugh again and remember those crazy days that non-stop marathon            that I understand                                 so much better now                                                 running wild for your life                                 well, Chief                 I think you won a long time ago                 but, what does Sparky know                 I'm laughing out loud imagining you in Heaven what a thought you, Carlin, Dangerfield Nixon, Lincoln,                          Moses!                                 Is that your staff or are ya                                 just glad to see me?                    (Okay… that's why I'm a writer)                 nothing to slow you down the speed of thought                 you have that but now there is no stopping no dark hands grasping at you                                 pulling you down                 no voices that lie                                 telling you- you're no good     there's just a broken machine in pieces, that puzzles you you ask God, "Hey, Big Guy, what's this?"                                  "The measure" "Measure? Oh no, Mr. Happy is getting scared!"                                  "The measure of good in a soul.                    It climbs when you contribute                    to the world and                    it descends when you detract." "Oh. Was I that bad?"                                "You were that good.                 Work with me, Robin.                 Do you notice anything different?" "Well… I feel funny, ha ha. That's good. I feel relieved… there was that waitress… well, you know Your fault there… tone down the creating once in a while I'm only human…   Oh. Yes! I see now. I'm happy… WOW! Does this last?"                   "For all eternity."
