a story about the lack of love.
We all need love
by Jackarrie
I can remember my mother hugging me when I was two years old, the last one I got from her. My mother couldn't show love as we grew older. All my life I wanted to hear her say "Well done Mary" I never did hear those words. My grandfather was a strict Victorian man. She herself missed out on words of love and encouragement. After suffering depression, I knew the cycle had to change, and I was determined to do so. I've three wonderful children whom I hug every day. I forgave my mother; as she was a victim too.
