I Shall

I shall eternally be awed
By glories streaming forth from God
The many mercies that are found
And wondrous blessings that abound

If nature joyfully displays
In silent hymns and trilling lays
In colors splendid and obscure
That love of God will long endure

Then I'll have faith when raging storms
And dark despair around me forms
The One who calms the seething sea
Still reaches out to comfort me

He soothes my faint and troubled heart
And lets me know that I am part
Of His most grand and great design
That His pure love is surely mine

Such wondrous blessing that abound
So many mercies that are found
